Toronto-based Raven Banner has picked up worldwide sales rights to siege-horror film The Dead Ones and will launch sales at the AFM.
The film, written by Zach Chassler and directed by Jeremy Kasten, follows the story of four outcast teens being punished into cleaning their high school after a horrific incident. Everything begins to unravel when a gang dressed as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse locks them inside and begins hunting them through the school’s ravaged hallways.
The film premiered at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, and will make its American premiere in December, at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival.
Raven Banner’s Michael Da Silva and Michael Paszt brokered the deal with Colin Geddes of Ultra 8 Pictures and director, Jeremy Kasten.
